I See Him (our love poem)
I See Him I see him a comely stranger sitting across from me eating food we made at a cooking seminar a smile crinkled his hazel brown eyes and softened his face when he looked at me I see him walking with me his UK size 9 shoes adjusting to my pace as we stroll London dining out and getting to know each other I see him putting his hand in mine saying my name in his rich baritone on one bended knee uttering promises of ever after in Manila. I see him surrounded by our family and friends with his left hand wearing an identical ring to mine I see him waking up next to me rubbing his eyes, rolling over to my side I see him coming home to me with hugs and kisses we greet Every day I see him.
